Odyssey

A classic large gulet, Odyssey operates out of Bodrum and charters privately for groups of up to 14 guests across 7 cabins.

Seven double cabins — each with its own en-suite bathroom — mean a group of fourteen has space to spread out rather than squeeze in. A three-strong crew runs the yacht from bow to stern: the captain plots the route, the cook puts daily meals on the table using market-fresh ingredients, and the deckhand keeps everything running between stops.

Odyssey is outfitted with air conditioning, a TV, a full sound system, and an ice maker — the fundamentals that make the difference between a comfortable charter and a draining one. Deck sun awnings and sun mattresses handle the outdoor hours, while kayaks and fishing lines give the group something to reach for when the anchor goes down and the afternoon belongs to them.

Bodrum's harbour, watched over by the Castle of St. Peter, is one of the Aegean's most atmospheric departure points for a gulet charter. Odyssey can work east into the pine-forested Gulf of Gokova — whose sheltered arms hide some of Turkey's least-crowded anchorages — or head south-west to where the Bodrum Peninsula's lighthouse headlands give way to the Greek island of Kos, reachable within a morning's sail.
