Golden Life

Built in 2002, the classic Golden Life is based in Bodrum and takes up to 8 guests on fully crewed gulet charters in 4 private cabins.

Four double cabins occupy the lower deck, each fitted with its own en-suite bathroom for a degree of privacy that makes a week on board feel more like a hotel than a berth. Three crew members look after everything underway — anchoring in the right spots, cooking from the market, and keeping the boat in order — so guests can focus entirely on the cruise.

Key comforts include air conditioning, a sound system, hot water throughout, sun awnings, and sun mattresses on deck, making the cabin a welcome retreat after a day in the sun. Active guests will appreciate the on-board selection: kayaks, snorkelling gear, and fishing lines, ready to deploy at each day's anchorage.

The Gulf of Gokova, directly east of Bodrum, is one of Turkey's most rewarding sailing destinations: a long, landlocked inlet whose forested shores and calm water make it ideal for dropping anchor and staying a while. Golden Life works well in this territory — the itinerary can stay entirely within the gulf's protected waters, or push out to the Bodrum Peninsula's southern coast for a change of scenery mid-week.
