Cruise leisurely from Kadırga Bay along the magnificent coastline, stopping to explore the Bozzukale Loryma, a natural harbour with the ruins of Loryma scattered about the bay. There are magnificent views to be seen on the hike up to the almost intact ancient castle. Plenty of time for snorkelling and swimming in the crystalclear waters. Overnight in Bozzukale.
Travel on from Bozzukale Loryma further around the coast to the villages of Bozburun and Sogut. This is where many of the traditional gulets, such as the one you are travelling on, are made. Bozburun was once also famous for it’s sponge diving. Explore and enjoy the villages at your leisure. Overnight in Bozburun.
Cruise to the bay of Gerence for breakfast and then head on to visit the ancient church at Kamelya Island. Head into Selimiye in the afternoon for relaxation and swimming or to the bay of Orhaniye with it’s sandy spit reaching out into the sea. Overnight at a local bay.
Visit Bencik – a lush, sheltered area that is surrounded by vast forests and greenery. There are wonderful photo opportunities here and plenty of time for swimming and relaxing. Overnight in Bencik.
After breakfast in Bencik, travel on the Datça peninsula, where you will have the chance to wander around the quaint town of Datca, which remains relatively unspoiled. There are also the extensive ruins of Knidos on the windswept headland to be visited, a place untouched by modern civilisation. Overnight in Datça.
Start the leisurely trip back towards Marmaris, enjoying lunch along the way in Serce Limani. Visit the Gebe Kilise (“pregnant church”) onshore, where women used to pray for fertility. Back to Marmaris for dinner and fun farewells.
Enjoy breakfast back in Marmaris port, then disembarkation with our best wishes and hopes to see you again.
